CostadelSol Enterprises LLC was founded in 2001 as an importer of exotic and tropical products. Our foundation is based on providing culturally rich products which display our diverse ethnic familiarity. In 2003, CostadelSol merged with CBI International, expanding its product portfolio with recognized worldwide brands including DIANA. DIANA is highly recognized throughout Central America for its full line of quality snacks to which we became the exclusive importer for products developed for the U.S. market.


Today CBI INTERNATIONAL focuses on expanding and popularizing the ethnic market in the U.S. by continually developing new products and by strengthening our greatest assets: top of the line quality and service to our prominent clients. Our immutable presence in the U.S. ethnic market allows us to keep evolving our current products through new packaging and flavors.

Establishment (Founding) of the Costa del Sol Company in Miami, FL. A import and DSD distribution operation begins (1 Warehouse and 10 routes) in the city of Miami and surrounding areas.


After not obtaining favorable results, the business model is modified to work with distributors with a Central American profile, mainly in FL, CA and Maryland.


-We started with the expansion of coverage in the east of the country (NY, NJ, Baltimore and Virginia) and with it the growth in sales for the company. -Start of operations with CD in TX, as well as the expansion of the client portfolio in the area. -After the survey of market needs, the portfolio is expanded, primary and secondary and pallet packaging


The growth in sales and coverage evolved at a slow pace, a situation affected by the presence of multiple direct importers that break into the market with their own prices, affecting the brand image, the service and price dispersion. After that, it agreed with DIANA to grant exclusivity in the import and distribution to CostadelSol.

2005 – 2010

Beginning of commercial relations with national distributors, allowing entry into the multicultural market. -Strengthening of administrative and logistical processes to meet growth. -Innovation and development of extreme lines (Tozteca, lazitos and elotrix).

2011 – 2016

-SMS, a subsidiary of CDS, is established with the purpose of implementing a market service model that improves the execution of our brands in the POS and thus guarantee the sell out of the inventory of our distributors. -DIANA product approval is achieved at Walmart and 7-Eleven.

2017 – 2018

After a stock consolidation, it is possible to start a deep process of business transformation, which is born from a strategic planning that allows us to re-direct the north of the company, which is allowing us growth and very favorable expectations of development.
